Beschreibung
In this book, we define how a particle accelerator works and how particles are accelerated by the electric field and deflected by the magnetic field. We then study the different types of accelerators to give a general idea of their uses in the past and today. In addition, we explain the different physical principles necessary for the design of elementary particle accelerators. In fact, thanks to the development of particle accelerators, man has been able to access the universe of the infinitely small.
