In this book we introduce a study of nuclear structure for some even - even isotopes ( A= 180 - 190 ) by using the interacting boson model IBM-1, that (Hafnium, Tungsten, Osmium, Platinum and Lead). The ( IBSS1. For ) program was used to find the energy levels and to calculate the energy ratios and quantum transitions depends on the total number for bosons (N). The geometrical structure of the interacting boson model (IBM-1) was applied for a chosen isotope to calculate the potential energy surface.
