Beschreibung
This book summarizes recent knowledge about the properties of humic substances depending on their origin (source materials), including contemporary and historic concepts about their structure and properties. The described aspects of properties of humic substances include their analysis in natural environment, isolation methods, elemental and functional composition as well as spectral characteristics, structure, genesis and acidity of humic substances. The environmental roles of humic substances are analyzed.
