This book provides current information on management of Natural Resources in Ethiopia and recommends actions for future implementation of activities on the ground that are relevant to REDD+. Furthermore, the book argues that current institutional arrangement for management of environmental resources need to be revised or improved. Moreover, the importance of Non-carbon Benefits for effective implementation of REDD+ should be captured at national and international policies and strategies. Finally, to achieve the SDGs, and other national and international commitments implementation of landscape approach and green infrastructure are recommended to be the way forward.

Sisay Nune holds PhD in environmental Science and MSc. degree and diplomas in Forestry and has over 29 years of experiences in development cooperation, particularly in the broad fields of forestry, natural resources management, environment, Participatory Forest Management, land use land cover change analysis and climate change.
