Regeneration is the process of renewal,restoration and growth that makes genomes,cells,organisms and ecosystems resilient to natural fluctuations or events that cause disturbance or damage.Every species,from bacteria to humans is capable of regeneration.Regeneration can either be complete,where new tissue is the same as the lost tissue, or incomplete,where after the formation of necrotic tissue,fibrosis takes place.It is mediated by the molecular processes of DNA synthesis.Through the course of this book,Dr.Arun Srinivasan and I,Dr.Ayush Razdan Singh,take you through the process of regeneration and all that it encompasses.

Dr.Ayush Razdan Singh is an Associate Professor in the department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics,Saraswati Dental College,Lucknow,India.Having been in the profession for more than a decade and groomed more than ten thousand students,she is popular with her students,colleagues and patients.She has several publications to her credit.
