School-based oral health programs which give children a chance to experience optimal oral health. Schools are considered to provide the most favorable environment to impart oral health education to children. School health services contribute to goals of both the education system and the healthcare system.

Dr. Junaid had completed his Master's Degree in Public Health Dentistry in Yenepoya Dental College, Yenepoya University, Deralakatte, Mangalore. His current focus of research is in the field of Public Health and Preventive Dentistry. He has scientific presentations and publication to his credit at a national level.
