Beschreibung
Bifid uvula represents a microform of the cleft palate. The occurence of bifid uvula has aroused interest and utmost importance because of the possibility of being considered and associated with submucosal clefts. However, it is generally ignored as it is a hidden cleft therefore its increased awarness is required in order to prevent the complications like tubotympanitis and palatopharyngeal incompetency.
