Beschreibung
Regenerative endodontics utilizes the inherent ability of the stem cells to differentiate into specific cell types. Dental stem cells along with a suitable scaffold allow the regeneration of the dental tissues and has been used to treat immature permanent teeth with chronic apical periodontitis. The aim of this treatment is to keep the pulp vital, allow root lengthening and thus avoid pulpectomy or extraction of the tooth.

Dr Munish Goel is currently working as the Head of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Himachal Dental College, Sundarnagar (India). He has many publications to his name and has been involved with academics since past 20 years.
