Beschreibung
Odontogenic keratocyst (OKC) is a cyst of tooth origin with an aggressive clinical behavior including a high recurrence rate. It has been rechristened to Keratocystic odontogenic tumour (KCOT), as it better reflects its neoplastic nature. Due to its neoplastic nature proper diagnosis and correct surgical technique is necessary. Its recurrence rate is so high so periodic review of the patient is essential.
