Medical emergencies can and do occur in the practice of dentistry. They can happen to anyone- a patient, a doctor, a member of the office staff or a person accompanying a patient. The prevention and management of medical emergencies is basically affirmed on acquiring the knowledge and understanding of the varieties of medical emergency crisis that dentists may face during their practice. Therefore, this book aims to highlight the importance of medical emergencies in dentistry.
