A need for a newer, safer, cheaper and effective therapy to enhance peoples health made a way for this natural medicinal spice with innumerable healing properties into modern medicine. Evidence on the diversified therapeutic approaches of Curcumin for most of the diseases makes it a potential agent to be used in oral diseases.

Dr. Reema Talat Ayesha completed her Bachelors in Dental Surgery from Raja Rajeswari Dental College, Bangalore and currently pursuing her Masters in Oral Medicine and Radiology. She is a university gold medallist (RGUHS, India) and has several publications to her credit. She is interested in scientific research on newer treatment modalities.
