Vocal fold paralysis is a debilitating condition affecting an individuals general health and quality of life. Optimal management of a patient with vocal fold dysfunction by an otolaryngologist, speech scientist, and speech language pathologist is essential. This book guides an Otorhinolaryngologist towards comprehensive management of patients with Unilateral and Bilateral Vocal Cord Palsy. Also for beginners and residents this book highlights anatomical and physiological basis of vocal cord palsy in a lucid language with evidence. Thus our study implies on making definitive protocol in managing patients with unilateral and bilateral vocal cord palsy with emphasis on team work with speech therapist to maximize benefit to the patients.

Dr. Bhavik Shah is consultant ENT and Head-Neck Surgeon with a PG experience of 3 years, currently working at BARC Hospital Mumbai. After completing his M.S. in ENT from L.T.M.M.C.and L.T.M.G.H, Mumbai he joined renowned BMC ENT Hospital, Mumbai as Asst. Medical Officer for 1 year. He has achieved Gold Medal in D.O.R.L. exams held by CPS, Mumbai.
