Virginity, teenage pregnancy, homosexuality, gender identity disorder, rape and other sexuality related topics are often topics which adolescents and parents find difficult to talk about. This psychiatry book will provide insights into the minds of adolescents as they deal with the above issues and will offer a guide to the clinicians, parents and carers on how to support and assist them. There are two parts to the book. The first will provide the technical skills in teaching a clinician on how to engage adolescents with sexuality issues while the second part will guide clinician, parents and carers on key points to focus on during the handling of sexuality issues such as teenage pregnancies and homosexuality. This book aims to reduce the anguish and distress among adolescents and parents when confronted with difficult sexuality issues and hopefully lead to better parent-child relationships upon their resolution.

LTC (Dr) Robin Goh is a military Consultant Psychiatrist in the Singapore Armed Forces and a Consultant Psychiatrist in Singapore General Hospital. He is an active member in numerous psychiatric organisations and VWOs and has published in several journals. He is the author of "Understanding Anorexia Nervosa" and "Understanding the Angry Adolescent"
