Stem cell Research in dentistry is still a relatively unexplored area. In future, stem cells are anticipated to change the face of not only dentistry but the entire medical profession. The endeavor is clearly multidisciplinary in nature, and the practicing dental surgeon has a critical role in it. Playing this role in the most effective way requires awareness of the huge potential associated with the use of stem cells in a clinical setting, as well as proper understanding of the related problems.This book gives a brief insight into the current concept of stem cell research.
