Female reproduction depends on adequate levels of thyroid hormones. Optimum function of the thyroid gland is essential for normal fertility. Thyroid disorders, exerts negative effect on the female reproduction. Thyroid disorders are more common in women and may manifest before or during pregnancy, post-delivery, or later in life. This book will reveal the variations in thyroid hormones profiles with respect to reproductive status.

I am an Assistant lecturer in the department of Physiology and also function as the departmental exam officer in Bingham University, Karu, Nigeria. I am currently PhD student at University of Abuja, Nigeria. My research interest is on developmental neurophysiology. My extracurricular activities include organizing STEM program for high school girls.
