This is good work,focusing on the problem of Physical Disability in light of scarcity of research in this topic and it may help in formulating the guidelines for prevention and control of disability and betterment of life of differently abled persons. The book has been written in easy and understandable language covering comprehensively the topic of physical disabilities ,causes and associated problems.I hope it will bring new concept of prevention to light. Good job has been done by author on highlighting the extent of Physical Disabilities in community.It will be useful for all those health personnel and the policy makers who is working in this field.

Dr Anika S Reddy has done graduation from UCMS, Delhi followed by Post graduation in Community Medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. Currently she is working as Assistant Professor, Community Medicine in Dr BSA Medical College, Rohini, Delhi. She has special interest in Epidemiology, Disability and Nutrition.
