The subject of the current book is about Over The Counter (OTC) medicines in the UAE. Its objective is to increase individuals awareness on the usage of such medicines. Users are usually not aware of the exact border line between OTC and prescription only medicines (POMs). Three main points are highlighted. The first is that it provides brief but beneficial information on the common ailments and symptoms that can be treated by OTC medications. The second introduces contraindications and interactions of major pharmacological categories. And finally the book concludes by explaining the main drug information.
