The oral route is the most preferred route of administered because of its patient compliance. Nowadays the popularity of compressed tablets is increasing because it is easy to use, less expensive, tamper-proof, and more stable than other dosage forms. The convenience of administration and improved patient compliance are important in the design of an oral drug delivery system which remains the preferred route of drug delivery.
