In topically administered drugs, the drug localization and penetration is very important factor to determine their dosage regimen. The dermal site of lipid nano particles should be such that they affect with the establishment of disease condition. This delivers a definite activity against disease conditions as well as a long-term effect as a reservoir to prevent reappearance of symptoms. It is possible to place a drug molecule deposited in between the lipid layers or in between the fatty acid chains or to deposit in imperfections of the lipid matrix for controlling the penetration and partitions into the skin. In this regards, we try to demonstrate the formulating the new lipid based carrier system having better localization profile which could be the positive belongings on clinical use of topical active pharmaceutical ingredients. The characterization and in vitro studies explore how the lipid nano carriers are performing.
