This book is focusing the aspects of Novel drug delivery system. Cover details about principle, preparation and evaluation of Microcarriers. The basic goal of drug therapy is to provide a therapeutic amount of drug to proper site in the body to promptly achieve and then maintain desired drug concentration. Conventional drug therapy results in see-saw fluctuation of drug concentration in systemic circulation causing either lethal effect or no therapeutic action. Conventional oral dosage forms provide a specific drug concentration in systemic circulation without offering any control over drug delivery. Controlled release drug delivery systems (CRDDS) provide drug release at a predetermined, predictable and controlled rate. The de novo design of an oral Controlled Drug Delivery System (CDDS) should be primarily aimed at achieving more predictable and increased bioavailability of drugs. The data has been compiled in such a way to feel it as ready to use. This book is not usual type book; we have tried to more reader friendly.
