Beschreibung

The work entitled Design, Synthesis and Studies on Some Newer N-Substituted Azoles presents the synthesis, characterization, antibacterial, antifungal, anthelmintic and antiHIV activity studies, molecular docking studies, predictive ADME studies of novel imidazole and benzotriazole analogs. The paper is organized into four chapters. Chapter 1 This chapter starts with an Introduction which includes a brief review about imidazole and benzotriazole analogs and their significant activities which justify the importance to undertake the present research work under the heading Research Envisaged Chapter 2 It includes the results and discussion which provides discussion of synthetic methods adopted, interpretation of spectral data of the compounds synthesized. Results of antibacterial, antifungal, anthelmintic and antiHIV studies have been incorporated. Molecular docking studies of the active test compounds in the NNIBP of HIV-1RT (PDB ID: 1RT2), in the active site of GlcN-6-P synthase (PDB ID: 2VF5) have been carried out. Predictive ADME studies of synthesized compounds are also discussed in this chapter. Chapter 3 This chapter consists of the experimental work done which inclu
