In the progression of a dosage form, an essential distress is to layout an optimized pharmaceutical formula in an ephemeral time period with marginal trials. Due to the difficulty inside the improvement of pharmaceutical formulations, some computer-based optimization strategies has been utilized correctly. The purpose of this book is to revise the theoretical history and application of an artificial neural network (ANN), a computational version for storing and retrieving obtained expertise, during pharmaceutical formulation development.

Dr. Prithviraj Chakraborty holds a total experience of about 12 years in teaching and research. He has a list of over 28 publications in high impact factor referred journals with cumulative SCI impact factor more than 20. He authored three chapters in books published by John Wiley & Sons Inc, U.S.A, CRC Press, USA, and Basera Verlag, Germany.
