Hypertension is a common condition with high mortality from associated diseases. Epidemiological evidence suggest that a dietary deficiency of vitamin C may be a risk factor for hypertension. The etiology of essential Hypertension includes increased oxidative stress. In observational studies, increased vitamin C supplementation, higher blood concentration of vitamin C are associated with lower blood pressure(systolic and diastolic).The objective of this study is to conduct systemic review on effects of vitamin C with antihypertensive therapy.
