Beschreibung
In most Asia countries including Sri Lanka, many people are suffering from "Kidney Diseases". Management of these patients requires medical management, as well as surgical management, and a large contribution from the patient is essential to control and get recover from the disease. When it comes to patient management at home, it requires knowledge regarding their disease condition, medication usage, lifestyle modification, and follow up care. This study is mainly focusing to understand the hemodialysis patients' awareness regarding self-care.

Ms.K.T.G. Kanchana is a lecturer in nursing who has completed her MSc.in Public Health (Epidemiology). She has conducted several pieces of research in the field of maternal and gynecology, pediatrics, and non-communicable diseases.
