Public Health in Libya promoted through education and research to build professional strength for administration, nutrition and environment. Research attempts during 2006-2011 are presented here to disseminate the methodological innovations, practical implications and contribution to nation building process. These research methodologies might be of help in the modern Libya's health reform efforts and health sector improvement.

Editors - Dr. Asharaf Abdul Salam (Demographer), Ms. Diwa Pandey (Nutritionist) and Dr. Amina Alshekteria (Community Medicine Specialist) were academic staff members of Faculty of Public Health, Garyounis University in Benghazhi, Libya. Researches carried out by them as part of training their students are edited and produced in this book.
