After successful isolation and culture of WJ-MSCs in DMEM supplement with serum upto third passage. The WJ-MSCs were characterized by alkaline phosphatase staining and cytotixicity of nanoparticles were assessed with the following conclusions: Caprine Whartons jelly derived mesenchymal stem cells are fibroblast like cells, which are clonogenic and alkaline phosphatase positive and can be successfully isolated and maintained upto third passage. Cytotoxicity assay: 10µg/ml concentration of CBN have least effect on morphology, cell viability, growth kinetics, population doubling time, colony forming unit assay, and MTT assay. However, 50µg/ml has moderate effects and 100µg/ml has severe effects in these growth parameters.
