Ischemic demyelination was once considered as a nugatory finding on Brain MRIs with uncertain clinical importance. Nevertheless, currently its an entity with emerging clinical significance concerning with its coexistence with ischemic infarct rising the possibility of homologous pathogenesis, as a risk factor for development of ischemic infarct and with its association with cognitive dysfunction. This book deals with MR imaging of ischemic demyelination and its upcoming clinical essence in detail.

The author Dr.Sivakami Pradheepkumar is qualified in MD Radio-Diagnosis in 2009 from CSMM University, India with Distinction. At present she is a Consultant Radiologist in Diwan Health Complex, Royal court of Diwan,Oman.To add to her credit she has published plenty of research articles and case reports in many international and national journals.
