Since the end of the 19th century, medicine has paid special attention to the diagnosis of the pathology of individual organs. The need to diagnose more precisely the internal constitution of the human being, especially in lung tissue, gastrointestinal, cardiac dimensions, intestinal walls, circulatory system, abscesses, inflammatory diseases and many other structures of the human body arises the need to modernize the technology of X-ray generation. Computed tomography (CT) is an imaging procedure that uses special equipment to create detailed images of regions inside the body. CT has several advantages over older imaging techniques. Although the radiation dose is higher than that of regular x-ray procedures, this exposure can generate biological effects for prolonged exposures. In the present manuscript, x-ray dose was determined in abdominal CT studies
