Smile designing is a process whereby the complete oral hard and soft tissues are studied and evaluated and certain changes are brought about which will have a positive influence on the overall esthetics of the face. These changes are governed by the principles of esthetic dentistry. Hence, a good smile design would naturally and effortlessly blend with the rest of the face to provide an esthetic and functional complex. This book aims at the fundamentals and guidelines to be taken into considerations for designing a good smile for an individual patient.

Dr. Arunoday Kumar has done BDS from M.C.O.D.S, Manipal University in 2009 and MDS from A.B.S.M.I.D.S, Nitte University in 2013. He has a working experience of nearly 6 years.At present he is working with central government recognized Dental College at RIMS, Imphal in Manipur State since December 2016. He has 20 International and National papers.
