This book brings a detailed approach to the rhinitis highlighting the concern related to its complications. A wide spectrum ranging from the viral to bacterial along with its potential complications is covered. Although recognized for many decades, Allergic rhinitis is a common childhood problem resulting into significant morbidity. It is difficult to quantify this global issue, but undoubtedly enormous. The economic cost involved in its management is also enormous. The public awareness of rhinitis and the treatment options available can lead to best care. Common cold is too common but when it is occurring frequently during childhood,can lead to long term complications and can also affect the neuro development. I have tried to critically appraise the available literature to present an informed view on this issue.This book provides the reader with an up to date information on this topic along with its relevance in daily practice. I hope that this short & concise book will enhance our ability to manage our children with rationale use of antibiotics.
