Prof. Dr Jorge Alio has been Professor and Chairman of Ophthalmology since 1987, first at the University of Alicante and since 2002 at the University Miguel Hernandez de Elche, also in Alicante, Spain. Dr. Dimitri T. Azar, is a renowned physician-scientist and expert on diseases of the cornea, and holds the position of dean at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine.
