Beschreibung

This book provides a comprehensive, practical guide to using infusion therapy for various pain, headache, and psychiatric conditions. It addresses the inconsistencies in how therapy is applied across different centers, which can lead to dangerous overuse or ineffective treatment. This book offers clear, evidence-based recommendations on the pharmacology of each medication, proper dosing, and infusion techniques, ensuring safe and effective use. Infusion Therapy: For Pain, Headache, and Related Conditions, 2nd Edition has been fully revised with a focus on patient selection, dosing algorithms, monitoring protocols and featuring new chapters on Eptinezumab for migraine headache as well as billing and coding. The book serves as an invaluable resource for clinicians in anesthesia, pain medicine, internal medicine, and palliative care. It is also a vital reference for researchers and pharmacologists interested in understanding how infusion therapies are applied in clinical settings.
