Beschreibung
Patients with implanted cardiac devices constitute a growing segment of the contemporary health practices. Many life threatening complications may arise after implanted cardiac devices insertion. Nurses Knowledge and practices could be beneficial in caring of patients with these devices and preventing any self or environmental interactions which can adversely affect proper device function and will increase adherence to the follow-up treatment.

Ali Hussein is an Assistant Lecturer in Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing- Cairo University, Egypt. His current research area includes assessment of Critical Care Nurses' Knowledge and Practices regarding Implantable Cardiac Devices in different CCUs.
