Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR) is a rapidly evolving imaging technology and is now increasingly utilized in patient care. Its advantages are noninvasiveness, superb image resolutions, and body tissue characterization. CMR is now an essential part of both cardiology and radiology training and has become part of the examination for Board certification.
