Cystic lymphangiomas are rare tumors of the lymphatic vessels. These benign tumors can develop in various organs of the human body. This book represents a theoretical update focusing only on intra-abdominal cystic lymphangiomas. Based on the current medical literature this book reviews this clinical pathology from epidemiological data to strategies of treatment. This manuscript also presents a report of a rare case of adrenal cystic lymphangioma.

Dr Joliat, MD, is a general surgery resident presently working in the Department of Visceral Surgery of the University Hospital of Lausanne. Dr Halkic, MD, is a general surgeon who specialized in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery. Dr Halkic is privat-docent (PD) and maître d'enseignement et de recherche (MER) at the University of Lausanne.
