The book describes principal directions of the preventive medicine, including hygiene of air environment, hygiene of water supply, soil hygiene, hygiene of nutrition, hospital hygiene, hygiene of children and adolescents, occupational health. The tutorial is intended for the students of high medical schools.

Dinara Kenessary is the Head of the Department of General Hygiene and Ecology at the S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU. Over ten scientific and research projects of national and international level were carried out under her guidance. She is the developer of Guidelines on Human health risks economic assessment and management from chemical substances.
