Experimental stress in both animals and in humans is essential to understand the basic pathophysiology of stress-related disorders. The present book attempts to clarify the basic and fundamental aspects of experimental stress in both preclinical & clinical studies. The main feature of this book is that experimental protocols, and stress assessment at behavioral and biochemical levels are described in detail. Furthermore, the pathophysiology of stress is also described in detailed manner.

Ms Anjana Bali is Senior Research Fellow (in Deptt Pharma Sci & Drug Research, Punjabi University, Patiala. Her key area of research is exploring mechanisms involved in stress adaptation. She has published more than 10 research and review articles in international journals of high repute. She has also written one book on experimental pharmacology.
