Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder which involves virtually all systems of the body. Mainly, it affects cardiovascular system, renal system, eyes and nervous system. Cardiovascular system involvement is a major predictor of diabetes related morbidity and mortality. This study was conducted in India to evaluate the left ventricular dysfunction in type 2 diabetes. This book will be useful for physicians with special interest in diabetes and endocrinology.
