This practical book describes the relationship beetwen the development of the severity of Dry Eye Syndrome (DES), the duration of Diabites Melitus (DM) type 2 and the form of diabetic retinipathy. It includes the diagnostic criteria of all the questionnaire to determine the severity of DES depending of the duration of DM type 2 and the form of Diabetic Retinipathy (DR). It is also provides the diagnostic significance and expediency of the application of the screening LIPCOF method in the diagnosis of DES in various forms of DR. The content is enhanced by inclusions of efficacy of treating DES with a drug containing propylen glycol in patients with DM type 2.
