A new form of dialysis was developed in Austin, Texas through collaboration between a Nephrology physician and a Biomedical Engineer. The revolutionary self management procedure has spread throughout the world and freed thousands of patients with kidney failure from dependence on standard dialysis which is commonly painful and personally restrictive in food and water intake. This is the story of How-When-Where.
