The book is written with medical students in mind, as an alternative to the traditionally large reference text books. We believe that residents should learn the essentials before delving into the subjects into depths. The purpose of this book is to provide a quick portable reference for improving basic knowledge of the disease in diagnostic radiology for radiologists, gynaecologist and also paediatricians. We are focusing on the clinical scenario which can be encountered. We also discuss practical imaging techniques and protocols used to address this problem, and we give readers easily accessible tools to aid in reaching a specific diagnosis and the treatment. This books starts with a description of the pertinent clinical presentation or suspicion and continuing with a description of the imaging modalities of choice and illustration of relevant features to help simplify the differential diagnosis.
