This is the first research on Breast cancer Gene 1 and 2 in Malawi and will assist in setting pace in breast cancer research. Breast cancer is one of the non-communicable diseases affecting young females in Malawi. Malawi like most African countries have similar characteristics in their presentation of the disease. Most of the late presentations are due to cultural beliefs in the society. There is a lot that needs to be done to address this situation. This book has helped to outline some approaches that can be taken.

Nelson Chimbiya is a Laboratory Scientist. He has contributed enormously to the policy change on malaria treatment and plans to contribute to non-communicable diseases in Malawi. He has authored and co-authored different papers on HIV, Malaria and Breast cancer.
