This book characterizes how to design and synthesize nanomaterials of an organic and mineral nature, the visualization of developed nanomaterials and their bio-applications, the biomedical effects of nanomaterials and the environmental impact of nanomaterials. The collaborative studies that form the basis for most of the book chapters have been conducted within the framework of the Association for Regional Cooperation in the Fields of Health, Science and Technology (RECOOP-HST Association) and research programs led by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.This is an ideal book for students studying biomedicine or the life sciences, as well as researchers and professionals in medicine, environmental protection, biotechnology, agriculture, and the food industry. More specifically, nanomaterials and nanobiotechnologies used in these fields of activities are addressed.
Autorenporträt
Rostyslav Stoika is the Head of the Department of Regulation of Cell Proliferation and Apoptosis in the Institute of Cell Biology at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He is also lecturing as a Professor of the Department of Biochemistry at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and as a Professor of the Department of Normal Physiology at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.
