This book introduces the basics, calculation of twisted equivariant K-theory and its application to classifications of topological insulators. Basic notion in algebraic topology, ordinary cohomology, borel equivariant cohomology are discussed in detail as well. With practical issue considered, the book is of interests to mathematicians, physicists and students.
