Beschreibung
In this work, the meshfree radial point interpolation method (RPIM) and the element free Galerkin method (EFGM) are optimized for time-harmonic acoustic simulations. Procedures for the coupling of meshfree methods with the finite element method (FEM) and with infinite elements are described. Furthermore, an iterative meshfree method is examined. In order to assess the reliability and the efficiency of meshfree methods, various numerical investigations are conducted.
