Fluid dynamics is the engineering science dealing with forces and energies generated by fluids in motion. Fluid dynamics and hydrodynamics play a vital role in everyday life. Practical examples include the flow motion in the kitchen sink, the exhaust fan above the stove and air conditioning system in our home. The development of fluid dynamics has been strongly influenced by its numerous applications. Some of the field applications to engineering, the environmental science and biological sciences are evident. Aeronautical engineering, marine engineering, meteorology, oceanography and the study of blood flow.
