Beschreibung
In this study, the unsteady three-dimensional linear heat conduction equation has been solved analytically using the method of Fourier transform. A solution procedure for obtaining the temperature profile is described and adopted. This study considers the boundary conditions of Dirichlet type only. The result obtained from this study provides a reference point for future researchers who seek to understand and improve the study and gains made concerning the understanding of heat flow in three and higher dimensions.

Francis Ochieng holds an M.Sc. degree in Computational Mathematics from the Pan African University Institute for Basic Sciences Technology and Innovation and a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. His research interest is mathematical modeling of natural phenomena in Science and Engineering.
