This book is primarily written for students majoring in science and engineering, teachers in science and engineering, engineers, technicians, middle school teachers and philomaths. The philosophy of "Mathematics around us" is proposed, and the idea of correspondence is considered as a tool to deal with complex and profound questions. Xiong Ming graduated from Dept. Mathematics, Chongqing Normal University in 1991 year. He had engaged in junior (senior,college) mathematics teaching for more than 20 years. He published more than 20 papers about educational theory, mathematics education and mathematics research.
