Beschreibung
In recent years, Applied Actuarial Science [AAS] is being widely used for decision making in the Insurance sectors. As with most tools, however, AAS is of big use when the user understands its application and purpose. The user has to ensure the actuarial science input accurately reflects the real-life problems to be solved and that the results are correctly incorporated. With this in mind, this text emphasizes its applications.

Dr P Mariappan, Head, PG Department of Actuarial Science, Bishop Heber College, Trichy is a distinguished academician having more than 30 Years of Teaching Experience. He holds two Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics and Management. He published 39 Books and more than 100 Research Articles. He holds the position of Chief Editor in many Intl. Journals.
