Teaching and learning of high school Geometry can be a very difficult task for some of the teachers and students in the absence of appropriate teaching and learning tools. Dynamic Geometry Software (DGS) can be a useful tool for both the teachers and students of Mathematics in order to teach and make clear the complicated aspects of high school Geometry. This book is based on a short study on how the use of Dynamic Geometry Software is helpful for both the teachers and students of Geometry. It has uncovered some interesting and useful features of DGS and some ideas on how the use of DGS can be helpful in teaching and learning of Geometry more effectively. The book can be useful and helpful not only for teachers and students of Mathematics but also for curriculum developers, educational researchers, DGS designers and anyone interested in the field of Mathematics Education.
Autorenporträt
Yadu Nath Poudel, M.A, M.Ed.: Studied Mathematics Education at King's College, London and Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He has taught Mathematics at several schools and colleges in Nepal and the United Kingdom. Currently, he has been working as the Head of Mathematics and Teachers' Trainer at the Excelsior School, Swoyambhu, Kathmandu, Nepal.
